Prayer for Cebu and Those Affected by Calamities


Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of concern and compassion for our brothers and sisters in Cebu who are facing the trials of disaster and calamity.

Lord, You are our refuge and strength — a very present help in times of trouble.
We pray for all those who have lost their homes, their livelihood, or their loved ones.
Surround them with Your comfort and peace.
Grant them courage to rebuild, faith to endure, and hope that shines even in the darkest hour.

Bless the rescuers, volunteers, and all who work tirelessly to bring help and relief.
Protect them from harm and strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit.

Lord, calm the storms around us and within us.
Turn this time of sorrow into a season of renewal 
that through compassion, generosity, and unity, Your love may be made visible among us.

We lift up Cebu and the whole Philippines into Your loving hands.
May Your mercy bring healing, and may Your grace restore what was lost.


We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
