After eight(8) years of formal involvement with the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Profesionals (BCBP), I fully realized that the challenges we’ve encountered became the center piece of our commitment to this Christian organization.
Foremost is to be honest, humble and Holy. Indeed it is a tough tasks to follow. There are two(2) major conversions in my life while with BCBP. First, I am now fully charismatic adhering to the works of the Holy Spirit: worshiping, adoring and praising our Lord Jesus Christ while raising our hands which we frown when I was with Social Action. This is my first conversion. In my 15 years with social action my orientation is that people are so engrossed with the life after death not the life after birth(eschatological theology). We believe it is crucial in our belief for our human existence! The second conversion is when my spouse challenge me to get married with the Catholic Church and accept the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony or else we partways! In June 18 of 2018 we finally tie the knot and get married and now no more baggage’s and we live happily ever after!

My involvement with BCBP started during my early 20s in the Philippines through BCBP Pagadian Outreach. Fast-forward to June of 2018, I knew that my interracial union with my Italian-Irish husband needed the support and influence from a Christ-centered group. My family here in the US and I were resolute on introducing my brand new husband, Bro. John Pastore to BCBP New York Outreach and infusing a culture of prayer and camaraderie in our marriage. BCBP has brought enlightenment to me as a wife and our family. To date, my husband and I continue to discover and handle many challenges of cultural diversity of a blended family. Nonetheless, the spiritual nourishment and joys of togetherness through BCBP New York has been overwhelmingly positive in managing our challenges and shaping our lives. As a BCBP sister, I continue to ask the Holy Spirit to fuel my life with calmness, divine wisdom, and grace as I strive in my journey as a living example of God’s love. Thank you BCBP for reminding me on a daily basis to assess, balance and embrace a sense of consistency of our catholic Christian life.
